After two decades designing the future of play, I’m now reimagining its past.

On the LEGO innovation team, as the only LEGO Master Designer in the US, I explored cutting edge-tech to create never-seen-before experiences at the intersection of physical and digital play. I was Concept Lead on LEGO Pokémon, UX Lead on LEGO City Missions, and helped to launch several other tech-enhanced product lines.

While that was exciting, nothing compares to playing around a table with the folks we cherish. My fondest memories are game nights where laughter and friendly rivalries bridged generations and brought us closer. We need these moments of togetherness and shared joy now more than ever.

That’s why I’m building Unplugged Arcade, a collection of handcrafted games that should have existed a hundred years ago. Built for bars, social venues, and living rooms, these games transform any space into timeless arenas of laughter, camaraderie, and spirited competition.

Each game is crafted to last like the amusements of yesteryear, designed to spark friendships, community, and memories you’ll treasure for years to come. Like a pastime from a past time.
