We’re working on custom Baseball Shuffle dice that make every play easier to read, faster to learn, and more fun to watch. And the new Sandlot League Game Mode is finished and ready to make its debut!

A Grand Slam Debut

The first Baseball Shuffle order was delivered May 13. The very next day, a tutorial we shot on a phone in the backyard with our kids went viral, surpassing 2.5 million views on Instagram—with $0 spent on ads.

Three weeks later, an updated tutorial filmed with friends at a local brewery surpassed 9 million views.

Our first production run of 100 handcrafted tables sold out in about two months. Demand quickly overwhelmed our small local shop and made it clear we needed a new manufacturing pipeline to scale production and bring the price down.

Hi, I’m Dan!

After two decades designing the future of play, I’m now reimagining its past.

On the LEGO innovation team, as the only LEGO Master Designer in the US, I explored cutting-edge tech to create brand new interactive experiences at the intersection of physical and digital play.

While that was exciting, nothing compares to playing around a table with the folks we cherish. My fondest memories are game nights where laughter and friendly rivalries bridged generations and brought us closer. We need these moments of togetherness and shared joy now more than ever.

That’s why I’m building Unplugged Arcade, a collection of handcrafted games that should have existed a hundred years ago. Built for taprooms, game rooms, and anywhere friends gather, these games transform any space into timeless arenas of laughter, camaraderie, and friendly competition.

Each game is crafted to last like the amusements of yesteryear, designed to spark friendships, community, and memories you’ll treasure for years to come.

  • Why Kickstarter?
    Our first 100 handcrafted tables sold out in about two months. Kickstarter lets us move into larger-scale manufacturing, introduce more affordable versions, and bring Baseball Shuffle to more players.

  • How much will the game cost?
    We’re planning to launch with 3 or 4 versions of Baseball Shuffle at different price points. We’re still finalizing manufacturing quotes, so we can’t share firm pricing yet, but we’re working on options that will be significantly less expensive than the original Classic Game Table.

  • What is the schedule?
    We expect to launch the Kickstarter during the baseball postseason. We’re already prototyping with new manufacturing partners and hope to begin fulfilling orders about four months after the campaign ends.

  • Is Baseball Shuffle available near me?
    Unless you’re in the Raleigh area, probably not yet. Our first production run was 100 units, made by a local custom shop, and sold out in about two months. Most went into homes, with others landing in bars, breweries, vacation rentals, offices, and break rooms.

  • Is customization available?
    Not for this Kickstarter campaign. We offered customization early on, but as demand grew, it created production challenges. We hope to bring it back later as part of a premium series.

  • Is international shipping available?
    Maybe. We’re actively exploring it and would love to make it happen, but it will depend on manufacturing, fulfillment, and distribution costs.
